I could stare at this for hours... amazingly beautiful, to me.
This is a photomerge of several close up shots with the 50mm f/1.8 (shot at f/3.2). Nice and crisp... came out better then I'd hoped.
Photo merge? Sorry, I'm not very savvy with photography, was that a digital process, or a trick with the original film?
But yes, it did come out beautifully, theres so much unlikely charm in a slab of concrete covered in graffiti. I guess it's what I miss from the city, the concrete and the vandalism. A small country city doesn't really get much of this, since it's too likely you'll get caught. Graffiti brings life to a city, I think, and you have captured that life. I can't help reading them all, or trying to read them. I'm glad to see that you are proud of it or at least enjoy it , because you should be, you have every reason to.

Photomerge - I took 5 shots, all parallel to the slab and merged them in photoshop. made one tall, skinny photo. I didnt want to stand further back and take one shot and lose detail...
Agree about graffiti - when its good, its great and I love how it makes a city feel...
There are a lot of themes that run through the stock gallery many people have similar ideas but they pull them off in different ways. In this series of newsletters we will look at similar ideas but different outcomes.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
